It's time for another bout of music magic courtesy of the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The show will return to the sun-drenched City of Angels for some good old Hollywood fun when the show airs live from Los Angeles on August 28.

By now we all know the VMAs will bring it with a slew of A-listers, show-stopping performances, and plenty of Moonmen to reward this year's biggest and brightest stars. The bottom line -- after 27 years there's no award show that celebrates music the way MTV rocks it time and time again.
